The van carries the same optical resins, UV curing equipment, and glass inventory used at our shop at 510 Glen Iris Dr NE. The technician does the damage assessment, the repair or replacement, and the final quality check right there, whether you are at a Midtown office, a Buckhead parking deck, or your driveway in Decatur.
For most Atlanta drivers, mobile is the preferred way to get auto glass fixed. Adding a shop trip to an Atlanta day means traffic on the connector, time away from work, and arranging a ride back. Mobile eliminates all of that.
What Mobile Service Covers
Most auto glass jobs work just as well in a parking space as in a shop bay.
Windshield chip and crack repair. This is our most common mobile appointment. The resin injection process needs a shaded or sheltered location so direct afternoon sun does not tack the resin before it is fully set. Our technicians carry a collapsible shade board for situations where parking shade is not available, so location rarely limits us.
Side and rear window replacement. A shattered side window is actually the ideal case for mobile service. Driving a car with open glass through Atlanta traffic is risky, and the tempered glass on the seat and in the door cavity is a hazard until professionally cleaned out. We come to you, remove all shattered glass from the door interior and weatherstripping channels, install the new tempered pane, and test operation before leaving.
Full windshield replacement. Mobile windshield replacement works with one planning step: the car needs to sit still for one to two hours after we finish, while the urethane adhesive cures to its full strength. Schedule your mobile replacement at home, or at a location where the car can stay parked. We bring the windshield on the van, do the full removal and installation, and give you the exact cure time before we leave.
What stays at the shop: Static ADAS camera calibration requires a flat, level floor and controlled lighting to accurately place calibration targets. For vehicles where recalibration is needed after windshield replacement, we perform that step at the Glen Iris Drive shop. We can complete the mobile replacement first and then you bring the car in for calibration, or do everything in one shop visit.
What to Have Ready Before We Arrive
Mobile service runs more smoothly with a few things in place.
Parking access. The van needs to park adjacent to your car. A typical parking space with one open space next to it, a residential driveway, or a surface lot row all work. For multi-level parking decks, confirm clearance of at least 8 feet for the van.
Shade for chip repairs. If your usual parking spot is in direct south-facing afternoon sun, booking a morning slot or pulling the car into a garage makes chip repair faster. For side window replacements, shade is less critical since no UV-cured resin is involved.
A stationary car for windshield replacements. The adhesive that holds a new windshield in place needs time to reach drive-away strength. If you can plan around having the car unavailable for one to two hours after we finish, mobile windshield replacement is straightforward.
You do not need to stay. For chip repairs and window replacements, you can give us access to the car and go about your day. We text when we are done.

The optical resin we inject for chip repairs is the same professional-grade product we use at the shop, applied with the same vacuum injection equipment. The urethane adhesive for windshield replacements is the same high-modulus product, from the same suppliers. The glass comes from the same OEM and OEE inventory we stock at Glen Iris Drive.
The practical difference between mobile and in-shop is logistics, not quality. A technician working in your parking lot produces the same repair as one working in our bay.
