Work on glass, not on a dispatch board

Midtown Glass Atlanta is a small intown shop on Glen Iris Drive in Old Fourth Ward. The whole day is car glass: chips, windshields, door glass, back glass, and the camera recalibration a new windshield usually needs. Nobody here sells siding or answers a call center queue.

We don’t post a standing list of openings. When the schedule gets tight we add people, and we would rather already know who you are when that happens.

Who we like hearing from

Auto glass technicians. You can cut out a urethane bead without scratching the pinchweld, you prime what needs priming, and you respect a safe drive-away time even when the customer is in a hurry.

Mobile installers. A lot of intown work happens in parking decks, on narrow streets, and in office garages with low ceilings. A valid license, a clean driving record, and patience with building security desks matter here.

People who want to learn the trade. Experience helps. It is not the whole test. Careful hands and showing up on time count for a lot.

What the job looks like

• Weekdays, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
• Walk-in chip repairs at the Glen Iris bay, plus mobile jobs across the intown neighbourhoods
• Camera recalibration on newer vehicles after the glass goes in
• A crew small enough that you know who set every windshield that week
