Should I repair my windshield or replace it?
If the damage is smaller than a quarter, not directly in the driver's line of sight, and not at the edge of the glass, a windshield repair (starting at $49) is usually the right call and is often fully covered by insurance. Do you use OEM or aftermarket windshields?

Both - your choice. OEM (original equipment manufacturer) glass matches your vehicle exactly and is recommended for ADAS-equipped windshields and luxury vehicles. High-quality OEE (OEM-equivalent) aftermarket glass meets the same DOT and FMVSS safety standards and costs less. We'll explain the difference for your specific vehicle and quote both. Why does ADAS calibration cost extra?
If your vehicle has a forward-facing camera behind the windshield (lane-keep assist, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise), that camera must be recalibrated after the glass is replaced or the safety systems can read the road incorrectly. ADAS calibration starts at $149 and is performed with manufacturer-spec equipment and documented for your records. We'll tell you upfront whether your vehicle requires it.
How soon can I drive after a windshield replacement?
Safe Drive-Away Time runs 1 to 4 hours after a windshield replacement, depending on the urethane adhesive, temperature, and humidity. Your technician gives you the exact clock at the end of the install. Driving before the adhesive cures risks the windshield shifting in a collision and can compromise airbag deployment, so we won't release a vehicle early.
