The mullion strip between panels must be inspected and often replaced during glass work. A deteriorated mullion allows water intrusion and wind noise even with new glass on both sides.

Rubber channel gasket installation on older two-piece trucks requires different technique than urethane bonding. Getting the gasket seated correctly at the corners prevents leaks.
